In the Devi Bhagavatam, there is a chapter describing in detail the mansion, the palace, the home, the seat, and the palace of Chandi. It is the most beautiful place with ever flowering and fruit trees. Crystal clear rivers are flowing with silver and multicolored fish. The roads are paved with gems, and there are mansions with gold roofs. You are bedazzled wherever your eyes fall. Birds are singing and there are flutes playing. The sky is blue and the gardens are bejeweled. The Goddess is surrounded by her maidens. There is tinkling of anklets and sandalwood fragrance engulfs us.

We do not believe such a place can exist, but it does, and it is within us. It is our spiritual center, which is the Mother’s gift to us.
