Do we recall the gift God gave us in Jesus? What comes in our minds when we think of Christmas? We worry about our gifts exchange. We think that if our gift is not right, it will be misunderstood. Have we forgotten that we are loved, are never alone and can hope for the future?

The actual reason for celebration, is to pause and give thanks for the love, hope and joy found in Jesus. How can we amend this? If we look around the world is in torment. There is hatred all around us.

What is the meaning of love?

Love must be unconditional and that is what the birth of Christ teaches us. It is easy to love someone, who loves us in return. According to Corinthians (13:4—8a), we are looking at love, which is patient and kind, love which does not envy or boast, it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth.

What is the meaning of hope?

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. – Romans 15:13

What is the meaning of joy?

According to the Bible joy is the response of delight to what God delights in.

To change ourselves, we must understand what love, hope and joy mean. If we can appreciate the true meaning, we can remove the hatred which exists within and around us. Dear Ones, do not take it amiss when I say that hatred also resides within us. And remember the feeling of Atma Bhava, love for your fellow beings.
