I have been writing about our thoughts very consistently. Our thoughts are our masters until we are able to break free from them. They keep us leashed and our senses are their slaves. We are guided by them and they play havoc with our mind and body. We have descriptions of personalities who are either Type A or B.
In the commercial world it is considered that one should be Type A, which means aggressive, demanding and egotistical. Type B is considered laid back, relaxed and passive. We have been influenced by these stereotypes. Now we return to our original topic, which is our thoughts. I came upon this quote, which says it all by Khalil Gibran.
You talk when you cease to be at peace with your thoughts… sound is a diversion and a pastime. And in much of your talking, thinking is half murdered. For thought is a bird of space, that in a cage of words may indeed unfold its wings but cannot fly.
