904 – Do we have to remember our guru all the time?

In the Bhagwad Gita, Sri Krishna says (12:2—2):

Meditate on me, do japa of my name; to focus your mind single pointedly on me is Bhakti.

My guru said that he did not always remember Swami Sivananda. He did not keep repeating his name all the time. However, he felt his presence constantly. Wherever he looked, he felt that Swami Sivananda, was standing there. It was as if he was his breath.

Then he quotes:

Jehan kahin dekha Prabhuji ki maya
Sabke dil me hai Prabhuji ki chaya.

Wherever I look, I see the play of God
In every heart resides the shadow of God.

Dear Ones, all we have to do is to see the divinity in all creations of the almighty. If we do that then we will not harbor ill will for any creature or for the destruction of the environment.
