976 – Beauty in Life

Dear ones, are we aware of the beauty around us? Are we so involved with ourselves? Do we miss the beauty of each new day?

Nothing gold can stay by Robert Frost

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So, Eden sank to grief,
So, dawn goes down to day,
Nothing gold can stay.
Do we miss the glorious colors of the rainbow?

My heart leaps up by William Wordsworth

My heart leaps up when I behold
A rainbow in the sky:
So was it when my life began;
So, it is now I am a man:
So be it when I shall grow old,
Or let me die!
The Child is the father of the Man;
And I could wish my days to be
Bound each to each by natural piety.
