Dear ones, I am in the beautiful country, Sri Lanka away from the cold in Delhi. Sri Lanka is a green and beautiful island. The people are friendly and gentle. Our plan had been to have our cat neutered and she would be okay by the time we returned. She went very happily as she trusts me completely.
The vet was in communication with us and then we get this message that she had been run over. They said that they were very sorry as she ran out of the clinic. We are heart broken and she was a lovely cat.
She had been abandoned by her mother and I started feeding her. One day I caught her and after that she looked upon me as her mum. I have kept cats all my life until we moved to Delhi. Our cats behaved like dogs and were killed by strays. We had decided that we would not keep any cats because of this.
I feed the wild cats, and they sleep in our balcony but this time she just grabbed our hearts. She had such a lovely temperament and she would not leave my side. I felt that we had a karmic connection.
I just want to say that who can one blame? I hold the doctors responsible, and find their excuses unacceptable. I have to come to terms with my sadness.
Yes, I can also say that this is life and bad things happen. My heart is heavy and I am sure she is in cat heaven. She was an Ahimsak. She had never killed a mouse or bird.
