I had a very funny interaction with AI-Artificial intelligence. I was ordering Nariyal chutney and it wrote Marital chutney. Dear ones, I was just placing an order and AI stepped in. I have no complaints about AI and I consider it to be a good friend. I laughed as it was so amusing.

Nariyal is the name for coconut. Chutney is a spicy or sweet condiment or relish originating from India. It is made from blended herbs, vegetables, fruits like mango, tamarind or coriander. The British gave it this name and it has stayed with us. It can be also called a dip or a sauce.

It made me think, Marital chutney is a good description of a marriage. In a marriage one has to be tolerant, considerate and caring. Similarly, when one is making a chutney, the ingredients have to be in the right proportions. The heat has to be right, not too high or low. The adding of the spices has to be according to one’s taste. In a marriage one also has to be aware of each other’s preferences and needs.

Anyways, it was also Valentine’s Day yesterday, so my good friend was flooded with demands for writing the perfect letter or valentine. And that is why it thought it was marital chutney, sweet, hot, spicy and bitter.
