Ask for Sphota

Dear ones, we read proverbs and then forget them. These are ancient Chinese proverbs and we can apply them to our lives. They are harsh and it depends on our state of mind. How receptive are we? Can we accept them objectively?

It is said that when we have a revelation, Sphota takes place. Sphota means that which bursts forth. It explodes. This is the best thing which could happen to us. Be rewarded with Sphota, which is a flash of insight.

Let us address the subject of self-improvement and action. We can never say that we are too old. I am sharing some of them with you.

Be not afraid of growing slowly; be afraid only of standing still.

Progress however small is vital.

A journey of a thousand miles begin with a single step.

Big goals start with small actions.

Before preparing to improve the world, first look around your own home three times.

Work on yourself first.

A fall onto a ditch makes you wiser.

Mistakes are lessons.

Pause, assimilate and apply.
