All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost. – JR Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring.
So, what are we rooted to?
I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from me. The wise who perfectly know this engage in my Bhakti and worship. – The Bhagwad Gita (10.08)
This verse reveals Krishna to be the ultimate root of everything in existence–including all of us and our cosmic world. When we retrace our roots back to him, we discover eternal love. We become aware that Krishna is the supreme object of our love.
Find your roots. Awaken your Moola Dhara chakra. Practice nose-tip gazing with its Bija mantra Lam. This will connect you to the Moola Dhara chakra and your roots. Once you are grounded, you will find Krishna.
