Visualizing Krishna. Seeing, touching and worshipping him. Praising and saluting his image and also the devotees. Reciting his glorious life. Listening to stories about him. Observing the special days dedicated to him. Offerings of worship and conducting the sacred rites according to Vedic and other scriptural texts. Chanting singing, and dancing in the temple.
Installing his image in temples and constructing temples dedicated to him. Taking care of the temple with love and performing all the tasks required in the temple. Seeing oneself as the servant of Krishna. Lighting the lamp with utmost sincerity, without thinking of any ulterior motive or one’s greatness. Offer one’s most prized possession to him.
One should worship Krishna in the sun, fire, cows, holy men, devotee, sky, air, earth, water. The body and all beings. Lastly Krishna says that Bhakti Yoga was the only way to worship. – Uddhava Gita: Chapter VI., verse 34—48.
Dear ones, do you observe that Krishna is asking us to be sincere, genuine and humble in our worship of him and to acknowledge his divine presence in the elements, and all sentient beings.
