Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer in sacrifice, whatever you give, whatever you practice as austerity, O Arjuna, do it as an offering unto Me! – Bhagavad Gita, 9:27
He who tries to live in the spirit of this verse will be able to surrender to God. His greedy nature is slowly dissolved. He always gives and is not eager to take. His whole life with all its actions, thoughts and feeling is dedicated to the service of God. There is not a bit of egoism and his nature is transformed into divinity. The individual will has become one with the cosmic will. This is the simplest method Yoga. – Swami Sivananda Saraswati
How do we follow this diction?
We become self-aware. We reflect on every act and deed we perform. We see everyone as we see ourselves. We practice atmabhava. We live in the spirit of the verse and love, serve and give.
