The Bible uses the phrase “do not be afraid,” innumerable times. Some say it is 365 times, which means it is applicable for each day.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you everywhere you go. – Joshua 1:19
Jesus said to him, ‘Do not be afraid, just believe.’ – Mark 5:36
The angel said to her, ‘Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God.’ – Luke 1:30
Dear ones, breath awareness will enable you to not be afraid. It is our thoughts which are responsible for making us afraid. While being aware of our breath and counting the breaths, we are not engaging with these thoughts and therefore cease to be afraid. The thought are just rising like yeast so by not offering them any warmth, we become free of fear.
