Mandala of Taste

The Mandala of Taste is not considered a method of transcendence. However, khechari mudra, in which one folds one’s tongue against the upper palate. The actual mudra is complex, therefore for the rest of us, the concentration should be on the tip of one’s tongue and becoming aware of the lalan chakra, which is a tiny gland at the back of the throat.

Lalan chakra stores the nectar that constantly drips down from the Bindu to visshudhi. When one attains mastery over khechari mudra, then one will gain the sense of taste of anything without tasting it.

As explained by Swami Satyananda Saraswati.

Khechari Mudra is a very powerful sadhana, combined with a mantra and a yantra, it again enables the mind to become a creator.
