Does one ever pause, and look around, gaze at the sky, the clouds, hear music, or read a funny story. How often do we do this, spend our time in a thought free activity which we enjoy? If one answers this question truthfully, one will find that many of us feel guilty if one is sitting and looking up at the stars or the bees buzzing and collecting pollen in the bright sunshine.
Leisure
What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare?
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as the sheep and cows:
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass:
No time to see in broad daylight
Streams full of stars, like skies at night:
No time to turn at Beauty’s glance
And watch her feet, how they can dance:
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began?
A poor life this is, if full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare. – W. H. Davies 1871–1940
Dear ones, appreciate and enjoy the repast Mother Earth puts before you. Loose yourself in the beauty, fragrances and flavours of the different seasons. Experience the different colors, green and yellow of Summer, the orange and red of Autumn, and the grey and white of Winter. Just remember to clear up after you and leave nature in its pristine state.
