743 – Are we warring within ourselves?

My dear ones, I have been wanting to write about how we all are waging a private war within ourselves. Today I came across what J Krishnamurti had said about the subject. It is so brilliant that I cannot add anything more to it.

You may reject outward war, but inwardly we battle with ourselves and another… One may talk of love, go to church, and all that immature stuff, but continue to live in a way that produces war. To live without war means to live peacefully, without competition, envy or resentment.

Where can we find such a life? In an ashram where we learn to love, serve and give.
