941 – Om Namah Shivaya

Om Namah Shivaya is composed of six different mantras. They are 1. Om – 2. Nah -3. Mah – 4. Shi – 5. Va – 6. Ya. All six sounds are interconnected with different chakras.

When one says Na, Mah, Shi, Va, ya, the sound is touching different chakras. When Om is said, one is activating the Ajna chakra. When one says Ya, the Anahata chakra is activated. When one says Va, then the Swadhishthana chakra is activated. When one says Namah the Manipura chakra is activated.

The literal meaning of Om Namah Shivaya is I bow down to Shiva, I salute Shiva. When one chants Om Namah Shivaya, one is engaged in self-purifying.

Dear ones, remember that Om Namaha Shivaya is an easy mantra to chant and its protection and power is all encompassing.
