Valentine’s day is coming. There are advertisements everywhere asking one to buy gifts, flowers, and sweets for one’s loved ones. It is so compelling and sweet deals are offered. We all want and wish to send Valentines.

I agree the concept is charming and beguiling. If we pause and think whom are we sending the Valentine to?

Can I please make a list of whom one can send valentines to?

• Mother Earth
• Nature
• Flora and fauna everywhere
• Cosmos

We cannot live without the sun, moon and stars. Should we not also send them a Valentine?

Now all of us spend our time pursuing love at the temporary human level. It is conjugal, family, fraternal, filial, maternal and they all have a blind alley.

We have to look at Divine love. It is the perfect love and it is God, who is playing hide and seek in the corridors of our hearts. You may find his love behind ordinary people and it will be a satisfying love. Therefore, love God, not for his gifts but because he has created you. If you meditate deeply, a deep an overwhelming love will come over you, which you will be able to share with others. We can send God a Valentine and then we will feel the joy of divine love and this love is shared by all of us. It is cosmically inclusive.

Dear Ones, please pause and contemplate. Meditating and seeking God, will enable us to have the complete package. We will know that love is joy and joy is God. Send your Valentines.
