Non-harming and non-violence

Change yourself through the sadhana of Ahimsa. Ahimsa means non-violence. It is understood as not harming others. However, it has a deeper meaning. It is to reduce harm in thought, word and action towards others and ourselves.

We may attribute the meaning of Ahimsa to being vegan because we are not consuming anything from animals. Ahimsa also covers language and it means stepping away from toxic gossip, harsh self-talk and nastiness to others. The outcome is that when one becomes aware of one’s speech, then one’s mind also follows. Peace and harmony are the outcomes.

Dear ones, let us take a pledge and practice Ahimsa in every aspect of our life. Our thoughts, speech and actions will change, and we will be consciously contributing to changing and protecting Mother Earth.
