Uddhava was the recipient of Krishna’s final teachings. He was Krishna’s cousin and counsellor and he asked Krishna how should Paramatman be worshipped? Krishna answered his question in detail.
One should sit on a flat seat in a classical pose. One should start with the practice of pranayama, followed by pratyahara (sense control) and then repetition of the mantra Aum. One should perform this practice three times daily for one month and then acquire breath control. One should fix one’s mind in the heart center and contemplate upon the sun, moon and the fire.
In that fire, one should visualize the sacred form of the blue God with the Goddess, Lakshmi, sitting beside him. One should picture the lord with four arms, graceful poise and a charming smile, adorned with jewels and a garland of flowers. In his four hands, one should see a conch, chakra and mace.
Contemplating upon the divine forms, the worshipper becomes one with the Lord.
Dear ones, practice this meditation and be blessed.
