Veda means revealed knowledge. It is derived from the ancient Sanskrit root Vid which means ‘to know.’ In the Vedic tradition, knowledge is not only intellectual; it also comes in the form of experience. He became a disciple of Swami Chinmayananda at the age of 24. In 1995 he attended the 3 years Vedanta course of Swami Dayananda. Advaita Vedanta is the Philosophy of Oneness. It is unconditional non-dualism. It is supposed to be the zenith of all philosophies. Chandra Cohen explains in this short podcast what Advaita is.
