The principles of Vedanta are too complex for us. We require some sadhana which is easy to understand and accept. Tantra is the middle way, and its master principle is: Continue reading

300 – Am I kidding myself?
Do I tell myself everyday these things? I have to take care of my family. I have to go to work. I have to keep my boss pleased. I do not have time for my practice. I am overwhelmed by my life. 298 – Look after yourself holistically
We look after ourselves. We take it very seriously. From childhood we are taught to be clean. We are given instructions. Brush your teeth, wash your face, feet, hands, and clip your nails. When you bathed you were reminded by your parents to wash behind the ears, soap your neck, scrub your knees and the soles of your feet. It is embedded in our memory and we repeat it to our kids. The list is endless. Continue reading

Who is a friend? A friend is a person who is there for us. A friend never lets us down. Our friend always tells us the truth and looks out for us.

186 – Why the head of the elephant for Ganesha
Did Shiva know that Shakti had created a beautiful boy to be her protector? Shakti was very upset as she had nobody to take care of her. 181 – How to develop Psychic Awareness?

We all take great care of our body. We use fragrant soaps, lotions and perfumes. Our desire is to look good and attractive. 099 – Do you know your own self
Do you know your own self as well as you know your own house. You know where everything is in place in your home. You know your bookshelves, what is in your kitchen, in your cupboard. When you lay the table, you take the cutlery out of the drawers, place the plates, etc. There is no confusion in your mind. If you invite someone for a meal, you may take out your grandma’s lace tablecloth and your mother’s silver. Your writing desk, what is in the drawers, your files, your clips, stapler, everything is in place. You know where your cheque books are kept, have an idea how much you have in the bank. You are very familiar with your home. Continue reading

In all yogic practices you are asked to become aware and at the same time you also have to control your awareness. How is this done. Your goal is to quieten your mind and see a blank screen. You close your eyes and you still see that person. Continue reading
